About Patrick Robinson
I'm passionate about making change in the world around me to better the lives of others. This was sparked during my year of service for City Year Philadelphia, where I tutored and mentored 7th grade students in an under-resourced public school. I arrived at Dickinson College with the goal of gaining skills to help me make change in communities like the one I served.
In my internship experiences with Congresswoman Yvette Clarke and The Fairness Project, I gained skills in constituent services, fundraising, and external communication. I plan on using these skills to bring about equitable change in the United States.
At Dickinson, I gained experience in event planning through the school's programming board, where I planned 15 events during my sophomore year. During my senior year, when I managed the board's budget, we had the lowest per person cost for events in the organization's history. In these roles, I advanced sustainability goals by emphasizing the environmental impacts of events while the group planned events.
